Sea of Green
I went up for a drive into a new area of Alaska where I had never explored. On this afternoon, as is normal in the summer, the sun revolves around the horizon. In fact this part of the state receives about 20 hours of daylight each day. The sun's position makes for fascinating light all day, and yes, even around solar noon. I captured this one early in the afternoon around 2:00 PM. The green hues in all directions were unbelievable. It was a beautiful sea of green.
