Sudden
At the close of a fall day at Dead Horse Point, I walked down the rim trail with my wife. The sky was overcast with rain threatening, and in moments rain poured. My wife scrambled for cover, while I sat out through the storm. About half an hour later, with the rain gone, the sky began to clear, with an incredible golden glow near the horizon, yet the storm continued to rage. I setup for a panorama near the Point, and in one sudden moment, "Crack!" A lightning strike filled the scene and I had captured it!
