Rolling Mist Through Arches
At the end of a three-day trip to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, a group of three photographers (Dustin LeFevre, Steve Howa, and me) chose to shoot in the Windows Section of Arches. As we drove up through the entrance, overcast skies dominated the area. But as we entered the Windows, the sky broke just enough for rays of sun to highlight the ground. Then just as suddenly a layer of fog quickly rolled through. The fog essentially ruined any chance of a shot; however just after sundown the sun lit up the sky and the fog dissipated just enough to capture this last shot of the night.... rolling mist through Arches.
