Vision

Morning mist was thick, and the chilled air seemed to crawl through my jacket. Nevertheless the rich, green forest called out to me, and I was unable to withstand the desire to meander. As I hiked, I noticed the forest floor was covered by dew, and each step flicked water droplets onto my boots and legs. In no time I was soaked from the knees down, but I persisted exploring. Then as I crested a small hill I saw this scene. Morning light sprayed upward in all directions above my head. What a magnificent vision!
