Meadow Light

The first day of summer in Star Valley. The valley is covered with farms, ranches and rural residences. This scene was captured near the town of Etna. The foreground is a meadow on the Wyoming side of the valley, while the sun sets over the Idaho mountains. The Idaho-side is the Bridge-Teton National Forest. The spring had been cold this year, making everything sprout to life late in the year, in fact most of spring blooming was just barely underway in July.
