Dance
My wife and I were traveling from Denali National Park to Anchorage in the early hours of the morning. The Aurora had been putting on a show for some time, several hours in fact. But it was a duller glow that encompassed a large portion of the sky. Then suddenly, as if on queue, the dance began. I pulled the Jeep off the road and we watched. The show lasted several minutes, then dissipated, then started up again. For 45 minutes we watched.... oo-ing and ah-ing. Greens, reds, purples. What an amazing spectacle!
