Moment
I planned this day for many years. I desired to capture a special moment in Grand Teton when fall color was at its peak, and the correct conditions to make dramatic light. Upon arrival at the pre-determined scene, I could see potential, and the original plan was paying dividens. However, fast-moving low clouds swept across the sky, creating undesirable shadows in critical parts of the shot. I waited and waited until that perfect moment, when finally all elements combined to create the scene. I shot three images, side-by-side, to create this high-resolution panorama. Click, adjust. Click, adjust. Click. Then I smiled. Magic.
