Douglas
"Douglas." Mid-autumn, early in the morning, I traveled by float-plane across the Cook Inlet. As the aircraft approached the Alaska Peninsula, the sun crested the ridge from behind, casting a beautiful glow on the cliffs beneath me. The forest was laden with beautiful fall tones. I quickly snagged a shot of the cliffs, using them as a foreground for snow-capped Mount Douglas, which had a winter storm overhead.
