The Mittens

Summer fires in 2015 plagued the Desert Southwest with a thick layer of smoke that permeated everything; regardless my wife and I continued with our plans to visit the the southeast corner of Utah and northeast corner of Arizona to capture the beauty of the area. Interestingly the smoke created fantastic pastel colors at sunset, and I was able to capture this shot of The Mittens under those conditions.... amazing when Mother Nature provides such an incredible display!
