Captured this reflective beach scene while visiting Cozumel's eastern shoreline, facing the Caribbean Sea. Notwithstanding the litter that unfortunately cluttered the beaches, beautiful scenes could be captured by meandering just a tad down into the crashing waves. The sea along the east side of the island bears down heavily, as it is open sea for thousands of miles.
When visiting beaches, I find the contrast between aqua waters and blue skies the most interesting. The shot can be difficult, too, due to the bright sun reflecting off the water and sand, creating artificially dark exposures. I work hard to try to keep the scene as it really appeared. Wow, I love the Caribbean!
