Yoho

Rain fell all day, leaving a heavy saturated appearance and feel on everything... the roads, vegetation, and the mood. Even the more majestic, picturesque views were left in dark, gloomy light. Then at the end of the day, I meandered to this perspective, perched on the shoreline in Yoho National Park. There was not even a hint of a breeze. I setup the camera for a long exposure, to capture the quickly fading light, and snagged three shots side-by-side, later merging them to create this dynamic panorama. The scene leaves me yearning to return.
