Magic
"Magic." I woke up early that morning with hope of capturing Denali with a reflection in the lake. I had pre-visualized the scene I wanted a year previously, and had high hopes it would happen this day. My heart was crushed when I saw a nearly overcast sky at sunrise and a gentle breeze in the air. I let patience overtake the sadness and witnessed Mother Nature perform a wonder. Gradually the sky cover opened. I waited further for the wind, and on queue the wind calmed, allowing the lake to become a glass sheet. Now that two elements had come together, I desired one more, a moose. Again, on queue, a bull walked out of the brush and right into the scene. I took the time to setup my tripod and captured this three-frame panorama. Pure Magic.
